Coltrane is a Swiss based designer brand initiated in 2016 by Amihan Zemp.

Coltrane works are quiet and understated. Clean and simple cuts underline the beauty and texture of outstanding natural materials. They work with biodynamic and certified organic fabrics. Creating timeless quality pieces is our contribution to a less wasteful society. All pieces are designed and made in Switzerland.

I am very keen on the shapes, designs, materials and colors. Sort of timeless pieces I would keep 10 years in my wardrobe. They are rather expensive, but this is the way I do. I prefer to buy a top quality sweater or outfit every year, make sure it matches with my other stuff (in term of colors and style) keep it and wear it for years. After all if you look long ahead it is less expensive than buying low quality stuff with no soul often that pile up into your closets and are no longer used. Don’t you think?
