Ils sont à Paris pour la toute première fois et on pris avec eux toutes ces choses qui ne sont pas fabriquées ‘ailleurs’ mais dans leur usine à Eindhoven. La plupart des pièces sont uniques ou en série limitée, conçues et fabriquées et avec le plus grand possible et l’amour néerlandais unique.

Piet Hein Eek : They are in Paris for the first time and took with them all the things that are not manufactured elsewhere ‘but in their factory in Eindhoven. Most pieces are unique or limited edition, designed and manufactured with the greatest and the only Dutch love.

Dutch designer PIET HEIN EEK’s work embodies the concepts of transformation and reinvention. Spanning furniture design, architecture and fine art, Eek elevates discarded, quotidian and unorthodox materials into pieces that make a strong case for the design as art conversation. By contrast to other designers, Eek’s contemporary and beautifully constructed designs are covetable, whilst conveying a clear social message. His design modus operandi is a response to mass production, design conformity.
