Sunny days have arrived. YEAH… and with them the escapes on sandy beaches, lush hot & humid jungles, tropical countries and lazy days at my home beaches. These are the things I need to be ready in any cases under the sun… (click on the images to access the sources into a new window ;-)).

First thing in the morning, dressing up with in a swimming suit (bikini for the beach and one piece when being at the swimming pool in the middle of the jungle) and a light dress or linen tunic or jumper. Easy to take off to have a swim at lonely beaches, handy to put back on to have a walk or a nice snack at the beach bar, visit a special place or friends.

Don’t forget the straw hat to protect from the sun… and your sun glasses (I have very sensitive eyes and I have been trusted Persol lenses for ages). The muslin linen beach towel by Secret Maison is perfect (you can leave with several since it is available in 9 colors. I always find a use for it: pareo, towel after a shower at the swimming pool, on the beach…). I roll it in my day bag and I can use it whenever I want to cover a sun chair, dry my skin after a swim and it gets dry quickly to be rolled back again into my beach bag.

 

Don’t forget either the accessories that will save your days… Hair clips and bag.

 

At night, after a day wandering around and a lovely shower :-)… I like getting into soft and oversized outfits with a white linen trousers or a kaki army. I apply a good layer of aftersun cream after shower and I don’t like it to stick on.  And you never know what you will be up to so be ready for it :-).

Add some raw jewels and you are ready for a nice diner outside, comfy, protected from mosquitos and chilly sea breeze….
