BARCELONA: Attic of 80m2, located in a highland of Barcelona where we wanted to maximize the element of the terrace as main axis as well as its visits. For that white elements predominate as neuter elements that help us to maximize the feeling of space and luminosity too. On the other hand the terrace aims to be an extension of the hall and the study, with comfortable and welcoming elements, since weather in Barcelona city allows to use the outdoor spaces for much of the year.
Grenier de 80m2, situé dans un pays montagneux de Barcelone où la terrasse est maximisée comme axe principal. Le blanc prédomine comme un élément neutre qui accentue la sensation d’espace et de luminosité. D’autre part la terrasse vise à être une extension de la salle et l’étude, avec des éléments confortables et accueillantes, puisque la météo à la ville de Barcelone permet d’utiliser les espaces extérieurs pour une grande partie de l’année.
GERMANY: Jochen Specht created the ‘Haus Hohlen’, renovating an old house originally built in 1961. The owner needed to expand the space to accommodate a family of four. What the architects made out of it is quite impressive. The only thing they kept was the existing stone work.
ALLEMAGNE : Jochen Specht a créé la «Haus Hohlen ‘. Rénover une vieille maison construite à l’origine en 1961. Le propriétaire avait besoin d’agrandir l’espace pour accueillir une famille de quatre. Ce que les architectes ont fait est assez impressionnant. La seule chose qu’ils aient conservé est le travail de la pierre existante.
